BCI Fomento bank wants to double its number of branches in three years
Mozambican bank, Banco de Comércio e Investimento (BCI–Fomento) controlled by Portuguese group Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), said Wednesday in Boane, Maputo province, that it plans to open 45 new branches over the next three years.
The province of Sofala, in central Mozambique, in 2007 exported goods worth US$107 million, a source from the Trade and Industry Ministry told Macauhub Wednesday. - (macauhub)
The publicly owned Mozambican mobile phone company Mcel is planning to invest about 70 million US dollars this year in infrastructures for its network in order to improve the quality of its service, and to expand its geographical coverage. - (AIM NEWS)
