clubofmozambique (2012-11-23) Angolan drinks company Refriango plans to invest in the production and sale of soft drinks in Mozambique, said André Lima, an official for Nuvia, the name chosen by the Angolan company for international markets.

Mozambican newspaper Notícias reported that Nuvia has been in the Mozambican market for just over six months and sells the soft drink Blue. The newspaper cited Lima as saying that the company’s aim was to sell 2 million litres of soft drinks.

Refriango specialises in production and sale of alcoholic drinks, water, juices, fruit drinks and carbonated soft drinks. It has a 42-hectare industrial complex just south of Luanda, the capital of Angola.

At its 130,000 square metre factory Refriango has a production capacity of 1 billion litres, or 130 million boxes per year and has 21 filling lines for a variety of packages – Pet, Tetra-Pak, Bag-in-Box, glass and cans.
